It’s too early to say if Marathon’s complete package is worth the $40 asking price. But it’s also not a great sign when a sizable section of a live service game’s early experience doesn’t feel inviting. Despite solid shooting fundamentals and a distinct art style, Marathon will need to do more stand out in a competitive space.
